Safe, Seen, and Supported: How I Prioritize Safety for Every Client

When you book a session with me, you’re not just hiring a photographer—you’re trusting someone with your most precious people. And I take that seriously.

I’ve spent over a decade investing in education, training, and certifications to ensure that every newborn and child I photograph is safe, comfortable, and cared for. That means understanding proper support for tiny necks, monitoring temperature and lighting, and maintaining a clean and calm studio space. I’ve got a fully stocked first aid kit, full insurance coverage, and a deep respect for safety protocols.

But safety goes far beyond posing techniques. I care about you—the person behind the booking form. I’m always looking for ways to support my clients beyond just the camera. Whether that’s providing mental health resources, helping someone navigate a tough postpartum season, or offering a listening ear to someone in a dangerous relationship—I’m here. No judgment, no pressure. Just care.

If you ever need support, you can start here:

  • A Better Way Services (Muncie): abetterwaymuncie.org

  • Mental Health America of East Central Indiana: munciemha.org

  • Indiana 2-1-1 Connect: Dial 211 for local resources including crisis intervention, shelter, and counseling

You deserve a photographer who sees the whole you and cares deeply about your safety—not just the pictures.
