Christmas Mini Sessions: Day one!
We had such a great day of Christmas mini sessions!! The children were on their best behavior and so were the parents!!
Maddie, Christopher, Kylie and Brandon started our day off! Brandon has gotten so big since his newborn session! His smile is contagious and he looks just like his daddy. Kylie has the biggest, cheesiest and most fake smile you will ever see and it is the best thing ever, that is why I picked this picture for the sneak peek! There are plenty of real-Kylie smiles, but her fake one just makes me so happy!
Next we had the Walden gang! I have to admit when Catie told me she wanted to pile all six of them on this full-size bed in the studio I was a little apprehensive, but when they showed up all wearing matching jammies I am so glad I agreed! They have the cutest stinkin family. I chose this photo below for a sneak peek because it is my favorite. It is not the best crop or composition, but the smirk on Annie's face, eating that marshmallow, while her brother's are "sleeping" and Hatch TOTALLY over-selling the fake sleeping... it is a moment they will never get back! I am in love with this image.
Bri brought her daughter Laurel into the studio today! She won our mini session contest in September! I am so glad that they won because Laurel is adorable! She totally nailed her first Christmas pictures. She gave me a stone cold face unless she was squealing at the top of her lungs. It was like she had to build up for them!
Sweet Abel was back in the studio today! We did his newborn photos a few months back and he has gotten so big since then! His sweet blonde hair is just so darling! He is a true lady killer, he didn't make me work very hard at all for his smiles! I love this image below of when "he saw Santa" in the studio! :D
Rachelle brought Carter and Callie back in today as well! We had these sweeties in the studio when we did Callie's newborn photos! She slept like a dream and let me change and pose her at my whim when we did her newborn session, today this was not the case. She had no patience for me (or maybe for her brother holding her!) and only wanted individual glamour shots! It is ok though, because we got lots of them together after all!
... and just to show that I always try to make the best of even the worst moods.... Naughty and Nice!
I am looking forward to editing the rest of the fabulous images from everyone's Christmas minis and I can't wait for another FULL fay of minis next weekend too! :)
